While I haven’t obtained any “bacon” riding my board, I’ve collected plenty on my way to becoming a competent mountain biker (see older posts)! Riding dirt and snow, hiking and climbing with my husband and friends are all great pleasures of living in this part of Maryland. I’m a transplanted beach girl who thinks that living 3 hours from the coast is still too far inland. But every time I look around my “now” home, I see my surroundings in new ways that can almost bring tears to my eyes.
